Hello!
I'd like to invite you to be inspired and delighted by my books. For a number of years I noticed a need for entertainment that uplifts and enlightens. Hence, began I found it nearly impossible to find a book to read, music to listen to, or a television program to watch that was not infused with cultural disrespect, violence, gratuitous sex, or encouraging a narcissistic mindset. Hence, my venture into writing. This led to two novels, Sour Grapes on Silver Platters, and The Secret of Sweewater Stream, as well as a dinner party guide and two story books.
Then, I was spiritually called to write my latest book, Rise of the False Gods. This non-fiction work addresses our current, uncomfortable and dangerous personal, political, and cultural circumstances.
If you have ever asked yourself: "Why is this happening to me again?" or "Why can't we get it right?" this book has the answer. It's not magical; it's metaphysical.
My first novel is titled Sour Grapes on Silver Platters. In this story, Linea, the main character, has to come to terms with living her own life, not the life her parents desire for her.
In my second novel, The Secret of Sweetwater Stream, a middle-aged woman, Sara, learns the importance of achieving victory through surrender. She is then entrusted with a secret, and a mission. Will she succeed? Do you have a mission? Perhaps this story will help you find out.
Woven through the stories, are practical metaphysical - spiritual - principles. You will discover, with the characters, how to practice the principles, in order to overcome life's challenges and create a way of life that works!

Since the beginning of time, FALSE GODS have cast a dark shadow on planet Earth and its inhabitants, sowing seeds of discontent, war, and all forms of suffering. While their antics are factual, in reality they are just phantoms of a broken belief system. Any power they have in our lives has been given to them through that system. Throughout the ages, their influence has brought an ebb and flow of adversity. While we have been able to endure, and at times suppress this malefic, yet seductive energy, we have not been able to eradicate it. If you are wondering why, with all of our knowledge and talent, we have not overcome the false gods once and for all, we don’t have to look far for the answer. As the Pogo character said, “We have seen the enemy, it is us.” Driven by the cravings of our own lower nature, unconsciously and impulsively, we have played into the hands of the false gods. To overcome the works and wiles of the false gods we must come to know them. A teaching from The Art of War states: “So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be put at risk even in a hundred battles.” In the pages of this book, you will find wisdom that will help you know your (real or perceived) enemies, and know yourself at a depth that will empower you. While God is a major player in this book, it is not a religious book. It is non-denominational, and does not seek to convert, as God is seen in all faiths. It contains politics but is non-partisan. The answer is not magical, it’s metaphysical. The current state of conscious in our country is embattled as the forces of light and darkness, ignorance and illumination fight for superiority. Should the false gods triumph, life as we know it will cease to exist. We have the power to change. The answer is simple, but not easy. If you’re one of the millions that are waiting for Jesus to come and rescue us you might not want to hold your breath. He already came, and taught then proved his teaching works. We just didn’t follow as He instructed. Now is the time. Before it’s too late. Claim the power that is yours by Divine Right to co-create the world we dream of.
CURRENTLY IN REVISION - WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON Linea is a young woman who has squelchCed her desire to be a chef as a result of parental discouragement. Although her great-grandmother who claimed to have psychic abilities declared being a chef was Linea’s destiny, her parent’s words were loud and clear that this was not a good idea. Ever the dutiful daughter, she works to suppress and overcome the desire. Selecting a path in alignment with her parents’ wishes, she studied business administration and upon graduation accepted a position at an insurance company. Her parents still grieve that she has not married at the ripe old age of 23, and conspire with the parents of a suitable male, to marry her off. While it may appear their plan worked, we know we cannot make assumptions based on appearances. Green Grapes are sour. Dipped in sugar and served on a Silver Platter, these Green Grapes become symbolic of learning to face our destiny and embracing it! This book also includes a discussion guide for book clubs. |

Becalmed in these doldrums, Sara drifts off course and finds herself in a sea of despair. Through a mysterious chain of events, Sara becomes entangled in a strange and wonderful dimension and is imparted with ageless wisdom. She is entrusted with a secret and a mission. Sara surfaces from this experience to embark on a life-changing odyssey that crisscrosses the physical and spiritual realms, and will bring her - and every life she touches - unfathomable joy. |
